The 4 Hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss

This is a life-changing book.

Tim encourages readers to take control of their lives and become part of the “New Rich” who work smarter, not harder.

He offers an inspiring look at how people can use technology and lifestyle design to exist apart from the traditional 9-5 corporate office job.

Ferriss teaches readers how to redefine success on their own terms.

He encourages readers to break traditional habits and choose freedom over working more hours for little reward.

He lays out a goal setting process that encourages readers to think outside the box in pursuit of their dreams.

There are real-life examples of people who have created successful businesses with limited resources or achieved impressive feats without burning themselves out in the process.

Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill

Think and Grow Rich has been an eye-opening book for me.

In the book, Hill delves deeply into the power of the human mind, focusing on its potential to make someone successful.

The principles outlined in Think and Grow Rich have helped me understand that success is a result of having a positive mindset.

As I read through Napoleon Hill’s teachings, it became evident why this personal development and success book is considered one of the most influential ever written.

The book adresses thirteen core principles such as faith, autosuggestion, imagination, unified effort and more which all contribute towards achieving success.

Every time I read it I find something new that resonates with me; whether it be understanding how to take control of my own destiny or mastering the power of my subconscious mind.

Money: Master the Game: 7 Simple Steps to Financial Freedom by Tony Robbins

Tony’s book was an eye-opening read for me. I’ve always wrestled with financial knowledge and this book was incredibly helpful in teaching me how to create a solid foundation, as well as strategies to grow and protect my wealth.

The seven steps outlined in the book are simple enough that anyone can understand and put them into practice right away.

The first step focuses on understanding your current money situation and analyzing your financial fundamentals by calculating net worth, budgeting, debt, etc.

From there the next few steps discuss different investment plans such as stocks & bonds, mutual funds, and alternative investments.

Finally the last two steps focus on protecting your assets through insurance & legal frameworks – something I definitely need more guidance on!

One word of caution, this book is primarily written for an American audience, so many of the examples are peculiar to that market. Nevertheless, the basic messages and strategies can be applied anywhere.

This book is widely considered to be the bible of value investing.

By applying the principles outlined in this seminal work, investors can create a strategy for long-term success without taking on too much risk.

Intelligent Investor also goes beyond theory with detailed examples of various portfolios and strategies which will help readers understand the practical aspects of value investing even better.

It’s reported to be Warren Buffet’s favourite book on investing, so that can’t be bad.

Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter

This is a classic financial advice book that has been around for a couple of decades.

The book is written in the form of a narrative, where the authors use two dads – one rich and one poor – to illustrate how money works and how to create wealth.

They focus on teaching readers how to develop financial literacy, investing, creating passive income streams, and ultimately achieving financial freedom.

The concepts offered in Rich Dad Poor Dad are not easy to grasp if you’re new to investing or finances.

But once you understand them, they are very powerful tools to help achieve your goals.

The advice provided is practical and easy-to-follow for anyone who wants to learn more about personal finance.

This is one of those books that everyone should read.

Not just business people, EVERYONE.

It’s a timeless classic and has helped countless people in their personal and professional lives.

The book is all about understanding human nature and how we interact with each other.

He offers practical advice on how to gain admiration, respect, and trust from others.

Strategies mentioned in the book include; being courteous, listening attentively to what people have to say, avoiding unnecessary arguments or debates on sensitive topics, showing appreciation for people’s efforts, speaking kindly of others even if you don’t agree with them, and living up to your commitments no matter what it takes.
